Director of Branded Partnerships

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as the Director of Brand Partnerships. This role will be responsible for overseeing and expanding branded partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the influencer landscape and have a proven track record of new business development, senior leadership, client relations, and working with top-tier brand agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Currents internal sales team.

  • Control outbound sales and B2B relations for the entire Currents roster of clients.

  • Represent Currents as the point of contact for external brand/agency partners.

  • Create and maintain reports on agencies & brands that are active in the industry.

  • Support clients and their Currents teams on a daily basis.

  • Identify outbound sales opportunities across all Currents clients.

  • Track and process company-wide brand deal flow.

  • Serve as a conduit between external partners and Currents talent management teams.

  • Generate market research identifying popular trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in the creator space.

  • Deep knowledge of YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok and new other platforms from a business and consumer perspective.

  • Strong history of business development and new partnerships generation.

  • Wide-ranging book of contacts at brands, agencies, and other key players in the digital marketing ecosystem.

  • Experience managing a sales team with a track record of achieving sales goals and benchmarks.

  • KPI-driven mindset.

  • Superior communication, writing and verbal skills with an ability to consult with executive management

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and extremely organized

  • Ability to meet deadlines and possess follow-through
